I joined the company in July of 2019 and serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). I oversee corporate finance, treasury, financial reporting and assist with corporate strategic planning and initiatives. I have over 30 years of experience including 18 years as the CFO in the consumer products industry. I attended the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science, Accounting and I was licensed in California as a Certified Public Accountant (currently inactive). It is truly a pleasure to work at Gertmenian and be a part of the long and storied history.

Accounts Receivables Specialist

I immigrated to the United States from the Philippines in 2000 and have since dedicated over two decades to the field of accounting, specifically as an Accounts Receivable Specialist within the nurses registry industry. In 2022, I was appointed to the same position here in Gertmenian, where I collaborate with various departments to ensure timely collection of accurate amounts, meticulously verify and record transactions, resolve any account discrepancies, and undertake tasks aimed at safeguarding client payments. My commitment to excellence in financial management underscores my passion for delivering reliable, efficient, and secure services. I am deeply privileged to be a member of the esteemed Gertmenian team and proud to represent the exceptional products and services of a family business with both a storied history and a thriving outlook.

After two decades of wrangling pixels and brainstorming ideas from product launches to package designs (just to name a few) for brands like Disney, Red Bull, and Pelican, I'm thrilled to take a more grounded approach and weave my experience into the world of rugs with Gertmenian. Excited? Absolutely. Qualified? Well, let's just say I've got a good eye for patterns – both in design and in life. Here's to a future woven with creativity, a little elbow grease and maybe a few accidental rug puns along the way!

Accounts Receivable Specialist/Analyst

I started with this prestigious company way back March 20, 2000. My job requires a lot of patience and presence of mind. I managed incoming payments , reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
This management role involves overseeing invoice preparation, recording collections of customer invoices ensuring accurate processing payments received, generating some payment reports and handling customer or internal account inquiries i.e., filing claims against chargebacks that is being applied on their remittances.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I started working here at Gertmenian in June of 2018 through a temp agency and got hired into the company in October of that same year. I’ve learned so much here at Gertmenian, from assembling the racks, how to pick and pack orders for costumers, loading and offloading containers. Now I’m taking on a new task and working in our sample department displaying our new and up and coming rugs to our customers here in Los Angeles and in New York. I’m so grateful to be a part of Gertmenian team and I look forward to learning more.

I began my journey within the company in the warehouse, steadily progressing into the realm of office operations. Currently, my responsibilities encompass managing our e-commerce and GA 3PL orders. The dynamic nature of our workplace, which demands constant activity and adaptability, keeps me thoroughly engaged. I aspire to continue contributing to the success of this organization for the foreseeable future.
