I joined Gertmenian in 2008 as Vice President of Sales and Merchandising. Being in the home textile industry for over 25 years, I have acquired experience in merchandising, sales, sourcing, licensing, and product development by working closely with all major customers. My passion derives from presenting our product and excelling with identifying white space opportunities for our business growth.

Director of Design & Product Development
I have been with Gertmenian since 2013 and in the textile industry for 20 years. My background is in textile design with experience in the apparel & home markets. I travel to Turkey, Belgium & China to source new rugs & develop collections and I collaborate with the sales team to bring design & trend direction to our customer base.

Director of Warehouse Operations
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and in 1998 I was given the opportunity to work in a small warehouse in Cypress Park at Gertmenian. With hard work and the support of management and my fellow coworkers, I was able to go from a simple warehouse worker to the Director of Warehouse Operations. I execute daily warehouse operations, which include overseeing the arrival of all merchandise and the shipments of orders – to make sure all our customers, both our retail partners and online consumers, receive only the best quality of rugs. I feel honored to see how much this company has grown in the 24 years I have been here and hope to continue being a part of the growth for years to come.

Accounting and Records
I joined G. A. Gertmenian & Sons fresh out of college. I have been part of the Accounting & Human Resources departments. My co-workers know me as the payroll person above all but my history with Gertmenian and its growth has given me unique opportunities to develop skills in several areas. Questions and issues with Worker’s compensation, logistics management and safety have been part of the challenges I have dealt with over the years. I enjoy developing personal connections with each employee, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and keeping up to date on the HR landscape. I am ready to assist in any area, happy to listen to issues and driven to find solutions.

Assistant Warehouse Manager
I have been part of Gertmenian for 20+ years. I started as a warehouse laborer but with the support of management I have been able to grow and learn how to manage challenging logistics and fulfillment projects. Today I am a warehouse assistant manager who is driven by the day-to-day objectives satisfy orders, receive merchandise, account for inventory and manage personnel and workflow. I consider myself an approachable person with a disposition to help and a commitment to a positive and high achieving workplace.

Warehouse Office/ Order Specialist
I started working for Gertmenian 2 years ago, in that time I’ve worked with some very humble coworkers. I’ve learned to do many things including receiving containers and making sure orders for our retail partners are sent efficiently. I have really enjoyed my time working here and hope to continue for a long while.
